Don’t sell services just off the shelf. Sell only those that are needed, and demand payment for them - It may sound obvious that your company’s offering should solve customer problems and meet their needs. However, not all customers’ problems and needs are the same and customers’ problems and needs can change over time. This can cause your offering to become outdated and out of tune with changing and perhaps more complex and varying needs.

By analyzing customer experience you can identify how to best serve your customers and thereby how you should develop your offering in order to better serve them. This will make your sales more value driven and increase your competitiveness as a result.
